Interpoker has shut down. This is an old review of what they had to offer.

InterPoker is a very popular poker room that serves as the flagship for the Cryptologic network. InterPoker is managed by InterCasino, one of the world’s biggest casinos. InterPoker is a member of the Cryptologic network and therefore shares players with other poker rooms, such as William Hill Poker During 2004, the number of players on the Cryptologic network more than quadrupled and it is currently the fastest growing poker network. Before that, the network suffered from few players, but this changed when the software was upgraded to include Pot, No-Limit and multi-table tournament support. InterPoker is known for its monthly bonus, which is normally 100%, up to a limit of $ 90 (although this has been higher on occasion), of the first deposit of the month. It should be noted that this counts for all players – not just those registering their accounts for the first time. You can play using dollars, Euros or pounds, regardless of the balance in your account – just choose whichever you prefer.

Software and graphics
InterPoker is in the CryptoLogic network and uses their software. The client is not the prettiest out there, but it does have a whole bunch of settings to tweak. For example, the dealer can inform you of everything that is taking place in the game happening. One nice functionality is that you can keep track of how much time you have left to make a decision, not just receive a 10 second warning, as is common on other poker clients. They offer good statistics and hand history functionalities.

Games and numbers of players
InterPoker offers Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi/Lo and 7-Card Stud games. The levels show a decent spread, with Fixed Limit starting at $0.25/$0.50 and going up to £150/£300, whilst for Pot and No-Limit, tables vary from $0.15/$0.25 up to £5/£10. You will often see around 5,000 to 6,000 players logged in and finding a suitable table is rarely a problem.

InterPoker has focused on tournaments ever since the multi-table functionality was incorporated. Among other things, they are guaranteeing to send at least 145 players to the 2005 WSOP. They hold a lot of tournaments, of which a fair few per day, at all buy in levels, have a guaranteed pot.

Technical support
InterPoker offers live chat, telephone and email support. The live chat is often satisfyingly quick to respond and extremely helpful.
