Mansion Poker

Mansion Poker is one of the newest additions to the poker world. Mansion is, however, very clear about its goal: to be one of the leading online poker rooms. A lot of time has been spent by Mansion Poker to offer players as good an alternative as possible. The software has been in development for two years in order to make it as sharp as possible.  At the same time, over 100 people were hired for their support department, ready to provide help to its players from day one. In addition, they have very attractive offers and tournaments, as well as the largest bonus around, which all adds up to a winning concept. Just the bonus has become somewhat of a Mansion trademark.

Software and graphics

With its experience in developing leading casino and sports betting software, Mansion has created one of the best poker clients in the market today. The lobby is clean and nice, meaning it is easy to find what you are looking for. There are lots of filters available to find the game you are interested in. You can filter by game type, what limit you want to play to and how many players are allowed at the table. The tables are light and provide most everything you could wish for as a player. But, on the minus side, not enough adjustments are possible.

The client has a number of very good functions, some of which are unique to Mansion Poker. Regardless of the currency you are playing with, Mansion’s currency converter ensures everything is properly dealt with.  Players will always see their balance in the currency they chose and the software automatically converts it to the correct currency without charging any fees. Of course, you can play several tables at the same time, as well as take notes on how the others are playing. One nice function that is becoming popular is being able to chose your point of view. Even if your seat is in the upper left corner, you can rotate the table so that you always have your favourite point of view, for example, from the lower right corner. It can be useful when you are playing several tables as you won’t need to keep checking different places. Another new thing about this function comes into play if you have a limited screen – setting the point of view to the left on one table and to the right on the other means you can still keep an eye on both tables.

Games and numbers of players

Due to the fact that Mansion Poker is new, there are a somewhat limited number of players. It does not exactly help matters that Mansion Poker has its own network, as they are unable to take advantage of other player bases.

The games offered are the usual ones, with Texas Hold’em being the most popular and variants of Omaha and 7 Card Stud, both sporting High and High/Low versions, albeit with very low traffic. You can find games from $0.01/$0.02 up to $200/$400, but most games are at the lower levels.

Something that Mansion Poker has which is unique is Speed Poker. Speed Poker is a variant of normal Texas Hold’em, but where players are given only a few seconds to make their decisions. There are also Speed Poker tournaments where players are given a timeout, which allows them a few extra seconds to think.

Tournaments

Just like its cash tables, the tournaments still have relatively few players. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as Mansion Poker offers a number of tournaments with guaranteed pots and pony up to $5,000 extra for the prize pot.
In addition to the normal tournaments, Poker Dome satellite games are also well represented. The Poker Dome is played in a unique arena and the winner of the series gets a million dollars. You can either play one of the normal satellite games to win a seat or take a chance on winning for free by taking part in one of the freerolls offered.

Technical support

As mentioned previously, support is something that Mansion Poker has invested heavily in. This is also noticeable in the range of support offered, as you can contact Mansion in a variety of ways.
